Information Overload

I’ll say it: Parents don’t need any more advice or ideas about how to make this time particularly fun and enriching for their kids. They need you to reach out, ask how things are going, maybe arrange a video chat and play some games with the kiddos… while the parents get to zone out for a few minutes. If you can safely send a card or maybe even a care package with some of the items that might be hard to find in their local stores, do it. If you’re able to arrange and pre-pay food delivery for one of their meals (to save them from another evening of what-can-I-make-with-what’s-left-in-the-fridge), I’m sure that would be appreciated. You get the idea. Pretty sure I’m not the only one feeling like this lately, so I’ll keep it short and sweet this week.
